The specimens are procured ethically from farms and conservatories. Nothing is wild caught or slaughtered. We are licensed with the US Fish and Wildlife Service to import them into the country after they pass naturally. The specimens are then packaged and shipped directly to our studio. We hydrate, pin, and mount them. There is no further process and they are not modified in any way. You see them in their natural state.
